CCHS would like to give a BIG THANK YOU to Protectors of Homeless Pets of Carteret County (PHPCC) for their continued hard work and dedication to raise funding for our medical expense and spay / neuter.
With the medical expenses having drastically increased and the increased number of animals in our care we find that we now need additional funding for these specific needs. Please donate to the Animal Medical Fund and the Spay/Neuter Fund to help pay for these necessary expenses.

Dog Behavior Fund
Many of our dogs come in with no manners and socialization problems so we work with local trainers to provide training. Our volunteers also work with the dogs on the basic skills. To make adoption successful we aim to provide each dog vouchers for local dog trainers to help make their transition into a new home successful.
